I love days off! I've been working since Monday last week and today, I finally got a day off! It felt so good to sleep late, sleep in, and wake up feeling very refreshed! One of my favourite feelings in life is to wake up and realise that you absolutely have nothing to do for the day and you can spend it as you please.

Finally got around to checking out Hazel Hayes  with Steph today! I've been there before with David (If the cups look familiar to you, you've probably seen it here), but Steph and I have always wanted to check it out but never gotten around to until today! Had a cappuccino and the slow roasted pork belly for lunch. Soooo good. I think I found my new favourite place to hide in <3

What a good day. Last night, we had dinner and then went to catch a late night movie. Unfortunately, Bridesmaids sold out and so we watched Bad Teacher instead. The movie was alright, I guess. Still, I've been dying to see Bridesmaids! Next time I'm booking tickets in advance!

My little brother was discharged from the hospital today! Yay! I missed him so much that I smothered him with kisses. This is his "I'm not impressed" slash "no shit" look. Thanks for all the prayers and the love!

Yesterday was a very good day. Woke up early for my 8 am class and was pleasantly surprised to see fog! I'm never up early enough for fog. Lol. It was really chilly so I wore my favourite knit and my favourite hat to keep me warm.

Was reunited with Steph after a long time (1 week. HAHA) and caught up! Took photos and posted it up on our blog too! I'm liking Autumn now, but not the rain! Aaaahhh. I never used to like Fall/Winter because I came from such a tropical country and I never knew what to wear or how to layer but now. . . I think I'm learning!

We had dinner in this yummy Italian place and took a walk before going for dessert. The rest of my night was spent cuddling with a blanket watching Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice/SVU. I love Tuesdays!

Now I'm currently listening to Massad. I love how I'm discovering New Zealand artists now (It's been my "mission" to learn more about NZ music!) and Massad is definitely one my favourites! His song, "Forget About Me" is on repeat right now. Yes, it's that good. Listen to "Forget About Me" here. I can't whistle to save my life so that's skillz right there! Haha. Snug Snug Snuggle

Random mix of photos from the weekend.

We drove up to Auckland last Saturday for this gig at Juice Bar. It was my first time in Parnell and I'm in love with how beautiful the place is with the fairy lights and just the overall vibe it had. I can envision myself actually living there!

We went to the chocolate shop but taking photos wasn't allowed. I think that's a shame because the place was such a nice subject for photos. Oh well. Walked around a bit, then off to Juice Bar for the gig. To put it frankly, the gig was fucking epic! More on it can be found here.

Sunday was spent at work and then Church then shouted dinner for the fambam. Up to now, I don't know how I survived the day. I was beyond tired. I finally got to sleep in today after two weeks. Unfortunately, that means I missed the first day back in class. Fail. But sleeping in was so good and snuggling with my duvet while rain was kinda pouring outside made me sleep so much better!

When I finally did get up, I ate the yummiest spaghetti ever! Went out to meet David for coffee too. Did a bit of window shopping and spoiled myself some more by getting this snuggly knit cardi I am in love with! Last purchase for a long time. Promise!  Also while shopping, the fire alarm went off and so everyone had to evacuate. I was out hanging with three lovely girls who I kinda used to work it. They were so bubbly and cute I just had to take a photo! The second to the last photo is that of Alice and Tayla from Jay Jays and Hannah from Dotti. Hey you guys! <3

I guess I better sleep early as class is at 8 am tomorrow. Fully not keen!

Happinessssss

I know, I know. I haven't posted in so long! But I'm back now.. more excited to blog than ever!

Got the white top from Country Road yesterday, the chocolates were left for me at work by a lovely customer that I helped in store the other day. By far one of the best things that's ever happened to me! Photo of the shoes was taken last night while waiting for dessert.

I started a blog with my bestfriend, Steph, and I'm very excited for this little project of ours! We are up and running now so be sure to check us out cos we're withthecoolkids ;)
